- Employment of overseas nationals and the tax and NI
Implications
On 17 June 2003
we joined forces with Lawrence Jones Solicitors (http://www.lawrencejones.co.uk),
fellow members of Eu-Lex (www.Eu-Lex.com).
At a seminar at their premises, delivered to an audience of mainly UK
subsidiaries of overseas groups, we discussed the important subject of payroll
compliance for tax and National Insurance for overseas nationals sent to the UK
on secondment. Particular emphasis was made to the Japanese Social Security
Regulations as this was more relevant to the audience, but other countries were
addressed in addition to Japan. |
