Presentation - Minimising Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax

On 14 August 2003 Graham Wallace of our Leytonstone office and Patrick Penny of Wollastons Solicitors gave joint a presentation to clients on the importance of planning to minimise Capital Gains Tax ("CGT") and Inheritance Tax ("IHT").

Graham's presentation dealt firstly with when CGT and IHT are chargeable and then described the key exemptions from both taxes. His presentation also dealt with the key IHT planning points available to individuals, whether business owners or not.
